At last week's Board meeting, Momentum West conducted interviews of the three parties that submitted proposals to provide association management services to the organization. All three proposals were complete, thorough, and competently presented. After reviewing the proposals, hearing the presentations and discussing the merits of each, the Board unanimously approved, in principle, the proposal of Dowell Stute and Associates. Certain issues and contract terms remain to be finalized; however, these should be resolved soon so that they can begin their duties.

Momentum West has retained Emily Matchey of Matchey Marketing LLC to complete active economic development marketing projects on behalf of the region during 2012-2013. The plan includes target industry direct marketing, lead generation, and appointment setting on behalf of Momentum West during a 12-month period. Prospect follow up and ongoing company contacts are also part of the year-long plan. The region as a whole will be marketed for economic development and efforts will coincide with Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s plans and strategies as much as possible.

Momentum West will exhibit at the 2012 Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) Conference and Trade Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Minneapolis October 31-November 1, 2012. This is the 7th year that Momentum will send a contingency to this key fall marketing event to the medical device industry.
